If you follow me on Instagram (@amberkuiper) then you probably know by now that our family loves greek yogurt. My brother and sister-in-law got us hooked on it a while back and ever since we’ve always had a steady supply on hand. I think it’s a bit of an acquired taste, but once you fall for it, there’s really no turning back. It’s packed with lots of protein, and keeps you full and satisfied hours after eating it. Greek yogurt is one of Baylen’s favorite things to eat – that kid shovels it in by the spoonful.IMG_9140

I was super excited last week when Chobani sent me a bunch of their Chobani Champions for him! Chobani is my favorite, and their kid line is stellar. Since I have more Champions than usual, I decided to change their form a bit, and made yummy frozen yogurt drops! If you aren’t a greek yogurt fan these could totally be done with regular yogurt as well. I’m always looking for healthier snacks for Baylen, and these certainly fit the bill. He LOVES them. He happens to be teething right now, working on those last nasty molars, so I think he especially loves gnawing on the coldness.IMG_9520

Bay isn’t the only one who likes these. Jake and I are crazy about them too. I added dark chocolate chips to some so I can enjoy them after supper when I’m craving something just a little sweet but know I shouldn’t indulge in a full fledged dessert.

To make these, all you have to do is line a cookie sheet with wax paper. Then put some yogurt in a ziplock, snip off the corner, and squeeze it onto the cookie sheet by the dropful. Add desired toppings if you’d like. Then put them in the freezer for an hour or until frozen. Simply peel them off and enjoy! Store them in a tupperware in the freezer. IMG_9499IMG_9504IMG_9507

Do you like greek yogurt? If so, what’s your favorite kind?

I’m headed to the patio with a bowlful of these froyo drops to enjoy the sun and get in a little relaxation before the kids wake up from their naps!

I hope you’re able to take a few minutes for yourself today too!

I’ve made pretty much the same thing for our son a few times. They are awesome during teething!

We love Chobani Champion yogurt. My girls could eat those all day long. I haven’t made frozen yogurt drops yet. But I am definitely going to do it soon, that would be a perfect treat for summer.

This does look like a great warm weather treat! I should make some for the office and maybe I won’t snack on all of the chocolate. 🙂

These look like the perfect snack, teething or no teething involved. Love the idea of adding chocolate chips to each drop!
