Meet my amazing family!

Jake

Jake and I met in 2006 while we were students at Bethel University in St. Paul, MN. It didn’t take long for me to fall head over heels for this creative, funny, God-honoring, handsome man. We were married in December 2007, and the last eight years have been full of ups and downs and there’s no one I’d rather share it with. I’m honored to be married to my best friend. After moving to Chicagoland for a few years, we are back in Minnesota where we’re busy raising our four precious kids!

Baylen

Our precious son, Baylen, was born in October of 2011. He is a happy, chill little guy, and is always making us smile. He’s toddling around now, keeping his momma busy!

Emersyn Jaye & Mckinley Jo

We were doubly blessed with identical twin girls in March of 2013. We are completely in love with our little beauties!

Case Bry

I truly couldn’t have dreamed of a sweeter baby to round out our tribe! Case Bry, you are a JOY!

Mom & Dad

I grew up in Northwest Iowa on our family’s farm, where my parents still live and work. My dad’s a beef farmer, with about 3,000 cattle living in the front yard. My mom’s a Hospice nurse, and is amazingly gifted at what she does. My folks are some of the most hard-working people, and have taught me much about what it means to live with integrity and a strong work ethic. They’re also amazing examples when it comes to loving people unconditionally.

Joey & Madison

I have two younger brothers, the one closest in age to me being Joey. Joey and his wife Madison live in Minnesota just 40 minutes from us where Joey works in agribusiness and Madison is a food editor and blogger. Check out her fabulous blog, Espresso & Cream!

Jason & Ali

My youngest brother, Jason, and his wife, Ali, live in Kansas City where Jason is a project manager for a large manufacturing company and Ali is pursuing her passion in social justice work.

Jake’s Parents (Dan & Judy)

Jake grew up in Eagle River, WI where his parents still live. We love visiting the relaxing atmosphere in the Northwoods, and are grateful for the ways they support and love us.

Micah & Sarah

Jake has one brother, Micah, who is married to Sarah! Micah and Sarah live and work in Houghton, MI.
